Announcing Mondo.NYC’s 2020 Digital Music and Tech Expo

Today, we’re excited to announce the next iteration of one of our favorite music and tech conferences around, Mondo.NYC 2020: Igniting Music and Technology, which runs digitally between October 13-16.

Obviously unlike in previous years, hosting a large-capacity event in New York City is not possible at this time. But that’s to the benefit of everyone out there who ever wanted to attend this essential, inspiring music industry event but couldn’t make it physically to New York — now’s your chance to finally check out all of the incredible panels and workshops via this year’s virtual multi-day livestream!

And we’re even more excited about this year’s conference because this year, we’re hosting our own exciting panel on Strategies for Artists to Become Self-Guided Learners (Thursday, October 15 at 11 AM EST).

More on the conference and more on our panel below, but for those of you antsy to get to the part where we show you how to get tickets and a 20% discount courtesy of us, here it is:

Connective, immersive, and with one-on-one interaction up close and personal, as far as virtual events go, Mondo.NYC 2020 will bring the music world together as never before: in a four-day global interactive meeting and livestream conference.

Mondo.NYC is a pioneering music festival and global business conference focusing on the intersection of emerging music discovery and how emerging technologies and economies will significantly impact the business of music. Reconnect with old friends, forge new alliances, and roll up your sleeves because there is much work to be done. And, of course, be introduced to great new artists, technology and experience some of the world’s best new music (digitally).

Mondo’s Mission is to empower artists and advance ideas in an ever-changing music business and technology landscape.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Four days of live panels, networking and interactive sessions.
  • Four nights of curated live music performances featuring artists from across the world + a special international showcase program.
  • Round table discussions, product & service demonstrations and workshops.
  • Private one-on-one mentoring and networking (which we obviously love)

Strategies for Artists to Become Self-Guided Learners

The greatest skill one can develop as an artist is the ability to build knowledge and develop insight on your own. We gain this through our personal practice, experience, and experimentation. Yet, most of us aren’t particularly good at learning new things on our own. And in such a crowded landscape filled with “how to” videos and “experts,” we find ourselves distracted with no clear path towards our goal.

Join the team of expert online educators from Soundfly, plus invited guests, as we explore and share science-based strategies to learn more effectively on your own, so you’re prepared to take on any new skill or challenge with clarity and insight; and most importantly, so you don’t have to worry about forgetting what you’ve learned a week after you learn it.
