For now, let’s get you introduced to one of our newest Upcurrent Pros in the field of graphic design, Ilichna Morasky, who you’ll have the opportunity to work with in a personalized four-week learning program like some of the ones listed below.
Ilichna is a Chilean-born, Montréal and Copenhagen-based designer, illustrator, and musician. She’s run her own design company for five years working with clients from artists like Feist and The National to startups-turned-successful-businesses like Eve’s Crackers.
“I want my fellow creatives to feel empowered and confident putting their skills out into the world and asking for the compensation they deserve while they’re at it. I’m passionate about smashing those ego-driven imposter syndrome feels right in the face and helping others to do the same for themselves.”

More about Ilichna
Ilichna Paz Morasky is a Montreal/Copenhagen based Chilean-Canadian multidisciplinary creative and self-identified weirdo with big ambitions. A graphic designer, illustrator, and musician with a background in visual branding, product photography, and project management, she’s a one-woman show in all aspects of her creative life. Running a successful freelance design business since 2014 with a wide range of experience, her client list ranges from massive artists like Feist and The National to start-ups-turned-big-businesses like DAVIDsTEA and Eve’s Crackers (recently endorsed on CBC’s Dragon’s Den).
From designing magazines, packaging, and full-scale visual identity to organizing photoshoots, photo editing, and illustrating, she continues to expand her skills by constant learning and experimenting; all the while pushing her own musical ambitions under her alias, Strangerfamiliar.
A philosophy of self-compassion, community-centered connection, and consistent personal growth serves as the backbone to her life’s work. Her belief in calling in inspiration by nurturing a sustainable work-life balance informs her approach to helping other creatives. Knowing your worth and asking for what you deserve all the while equipping you with everything you need to feel confident is what she strives for when helping others.
