Next Week Is Home Recording Week on Soundfly!

We cover a lot of musical topics between the editorial content here on Flypaper, our weekly newsletter, our in-depth online courses, and our customized project-oriented mentorship sessions on Soundfly. Yet no matter what area of composition, production, performance, or business we’re talking about from one day to the next, we find that what links most modern musicians in their drive to learn more and expand their skills and opportunities today is the need to develop a better grasp on home recording.

Everyone records at home these days; being able to record adequately at home is self-empowering.

Whether you’re drafting demos for your next album, producing a 30-second spot for a video or beats for an electronic project, or actually tracking an entire album with your band in your living room, combining the comfort of your domestic space with business-like workflow habits and studio quality gear can lead to great results — so long as you don’t fall through one of the many trap doors inherent to this way of working.

It’s because of these trap doors (motivation, time management, confidence, workflow optimization, proper space and acoustic considerations, gear availabilities, etc.) that musicians with big ideas and significant dreams often fall short of reaching their true home recording potential. So we decided to make next week, June 17-22, 2019, all about that — next week is Home Recording Week on Soundfly.

Here’s what you can expect!

New articles

Between Monday and Friday, we’ll be posting new content pertaining to home recording and getting the most of our your time spent making music domestically. Follow our blog and sign up for our newsletter, to stay informed and read everything going live next week and beyond.
